About Us

Aerial Footage/Videography

SMOR Productions began as a dream and hobby after participating in an elective Drone Operator Course and the Empowered Filmmaker Masterclass. Sonya gained experience flying drones which brought her back to her childhood and playing video games with her family. Throughout the filmmaking course she saw firsthand what could be created with a laptop, video equipment and programs, and of course a drone! Your imagination and creativity can amount to an amazing, finished product, from a point of view many people don’t get to experience.


SMOR Productions strives to provide an eagle eye perspective for clients and their projects, specializing in aerial footage, videography, editing, mapping and more.

License/Insurance

Sonya holds a Basic Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) License and is working towards her Advanced RPAS License. She follows all guidelines and regulations set out by Transport Canada, and has over 3 years' experience as an aerial technician.

SMOR Productions is a licensed business and operates in a safe and professional manner. 

Services

Aerial Videography

Provide aerial photography services or raw aerial footage for marketing/advertising and events. Able to provide direct support for production and interviewing to create short films or documentaries.

Service Charges

Daily flat rates or hourly rates based on size of project.

Leisure and Business Projects

Aerial and video footage gathered within the Ktunaxa Traditional Territory.

Goat River

Not just beautiful scenery in the East Kootenays, you can also go fishing, berry picking and bridge jumping! At your own risk... 

Mice Sisters

Sonya and her partner that participated in the Empowered Filmmaker Masterclass, directed and interviewed the late Herman Alpine to produce his rendition of the Mice Sisters legend.
